Another
doctor recently asked me, “Tim… I need to learn PowerPoint
fast. What book do you recommend?”
As the resident “computer expert” at my hospital, I
field software questions like this all the time. Unfortunately,
I couldn’t answer this one. While there are some well-written
books on PowerPoint (such as the PowerPoint for Dummies) I couldn’t
recommend any of them to these busy doctors. The books are lengthy,
take too long to read, and are difficult to use … after all,
it’s not easy translating words from a book into actions on
your computer screen!
The fastest way to learn is by taking a class or hiring a tutor
… and having an instructor walk you through it. But who has
the time and money for that?
Another option is video training … watching a screen-capture
video and listening while an instructor walks your through the program.
Videos are great because you can watch them at your own pace, in
the comfort of your home. Online video is best because you can watch
them immediately.
While searching for a suitable PowerPoint training videos, I discovered
a shocking thing. There are only a few video training products out
there, and they are super-expensive … ranging from 100 to
300 dollars! That’s too expensive for most people.
So, with the help of the fine folks at MightyCoach, I created this
PowerPoint video training series. It’s the cheapest, fastest,
and most entertaining way to learn PowerPoint.
I believe you’ll be pleased by this video course. My reputation
is on the line, so I’ve made all efforts to ensure this training
course is worthy of your time.
